Call For Abstracts

All individuals who wish to present their work in any aspect of kava are invited and encouraged to submit an abstract for consideration as an oral or poster presentation at the IKC 2004. Oral presentations of accepted submissions will be scheduled for one of the concurrent sessions, listed in the programme. Authors may indicate their session preference in which they wish to present their work. The IKC 2004 International Advisory Board will review the submitted abstracts and the presenting authors of selected abstracts will be notified by the end of September. Deadline for the submission of abstracts is September 1, 2004.

General information

• All abstracts, both oral and poster, must be submitted in English only
• All abstracts must be original work.
• Abstracts will be published in the book of abstracts to be distributed at the congress and posted on the web site following the congress
• It is the responsibility of the presenting author to ensure accuracy of content, spelling and presentation, as abstracts will be published exactly as submitted

All abstracts should include

• The principal objectives and scope of the investigation
• The methodology employed
• Summary of the results
• The principal conclusions that can be drawn from these results
